Editorial Policy

Last updated: October 30, 2026

Our readers rely on us to tell them which word is correct. This page explains how we earn that trust.

1. Research

Every guide is checked against current editions of major dictionaries and usage references from the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia. Where authorities disagree, we say so instead of pretending there is a single rule. We do not invent statistics, quotations or studies.

2. Writing standards

  • The direct answer appears at the top of every guide.
  • Rules are explained with original example sentences, not copied text.
  • Each guide states how usage differs (or doesn't) in the US, UK and Australia.
  • Our own prose uses American spelling as a house style. British and Australian forms are always shown and explained wherever they matter.
  • Slang and informal language are explained neutrally and kept suitable for a general audience.

3. Review

Before publishing, every guide is reviewed by an editor for accuracy, clarity and completeness. Drafting tools may be used to speed up research and first drafts, but no guide is published until an editor has checked and approved it.

4. Corrections and updates

If we get something wrong, we fix it. Readers can report errors at contact@pulsarpass.com. Substantive changes update the “Updated” date shown under the article title. We merge rather than duplicate: one question gets one page.

5. Independence

Advertising pays for the site, but advertisers never influence content. We do not accept payment for links, reviews or mentions.
